With the large amount of surface area on the robe, I considered attempting some sort of pattern. However, the numerous folds made that a challenge and I couldn't come up with a suitable pattern, so I went with a solid color. The robe is green and gold, with the gold repeated on the staff. The stone on the staff is a few shades of yellow, in an attempt as a "sun stone". The skin was painted a pale flesh; the eyes were a challenge due to being set within a fairly deep cowl.
Conclusion: I think this is a solid figure, and I'm fairly pleased with how Anirion turned out. While it's listed as a "wood elf wizard", the figure is vague enough to function as any variety of magic users (and not just an elf).
Next week's figure is back to the Who's Your Mummy set: 77147 Neb'nesew, Mummy Lich.
